Our church is where we gather to celebrate the Eucharist, hear God’s Word, and lift our voices in prayer. This #iGiveCatholic, we invite you to help care for this sacred space through much-needed improvements to our lighting.
Of the 24 pendant lights in our church, 10 are currently burned out.
Replacing them requires more than changing lightbulbs. We must update the fixtures’ internal hardware to accommodate modern LED technology. Reaching these lights also requires moving pews and bringing heavy equipment into the church.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to complete this lighting project. Your gift will help cover the LED conversion, installation, and equipment needed to reach the fixtures. The new lighting should last substantially longer, reducing the need for frequent replacements and the disruption and expense involved in accessing lights so high above the pews.
If we exceed our lighting goal, additional gifts will help us begin upgrading our church’s audio system. These improvements will work toward:
Reliable sound from the priest’s and choir’s microphones, without the interruptions we now experience.
More dependable audio for those joining us through the livestream.
An upgraded assistive listening system for parishioners with hearing loss.
Together, these projects will help our parish family see more clearly, hear more reliably, and participate more fully in worship.
Please prayerfully consider a gift to St. Pius X this #iGiveCatholic. Every gift, large or small, brings us closer to our goal.
Help us renew the light in our church—and, with your generosity, begin improving the sound that carries our prayer. Thank you for supporting St. Pius X!
