TUITION & FEES
Most families do not pay the full published tuition amount. Financial assistance is available through Alabama's CHOOSE Act, scholarships, and parish aid programs.
St. Pius X School is the primary mission of St. Pius X Parish. Through careful financial stewardship and the generous support of St. Pius X parishioners and other benefactors, we work to maintain affordable tuition rates for all who desire a high-quality, Catholic education.
If you or your home church contribute a minimum of $1,300 to St. Pius X Parish, you may qualify for Financial Aid, if needed. We must have a letter from your Pastor indicating this by May 1st.

A 5% discount is offered for tuition paid in full by July 1. Payment may also be made on a 10-month payment plan through FACTS, payable between July and April.
In addition to the rates below, a registration charge of $150 per student is due by January 23, 2026. Archdiocesan fees are $70 per student. School fees include a Testing Fee ($200), Supply Fee ($300), and Technology Fee ($125).
WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY PAY?
The actual cost of educating a student at St. Pius X School is approximately $11,800 per year. Through the support of St. Pius X Parish and our benefactors, every student already receives a substantial subsidy.
Most eligible families further reduce their cost through Alabama's CHOOSE Act, scholarships, and financial aid programs.
Families seeking assistance should:
1. Apply for Alabama's CHOOSE Act
2. Apply for scholarships through FACTS
3. Apply for Financial Aid through FACTS
Families who qualify for the CHOOSE Act, complete the FACTS Financial Aid application, and qualify for Contributor Aid will have their registration fees credited toward the purchase of student books.
For many contributing families receiving the CHOOSE Act award, the primary out-of-pocket cost of attending St. Pius X School will be the remaining balance of their books after this credit has been applied.
